DOG OF THE WEEK - JACK
Can anyone help the handsome Jack? He is currently with Waggy Tails Rescue in Dorset but desperate for a home of his own. He is around 4 years old – a large very gentle deerhound cross who measures 27” to the shoulder, but doesn't take up much space when curled up. We don't know his history as he came from a pound. Jack is used to having someone with him most of the time and finds life very difficult if he is confined or without human company. Jack loves the outdoors and would be happy being with a person who enjoys an outdoor life where Jack can be with them. Once Jack gets to know you he is lovely and playful and can be very comical. Anyone interested in adopting Jack would need to come to our sanctuary near Wimborne to meet him. Please call our office on 01202 875000 between 10 & 4 weekdays, 10 & 1 weekends, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would consider homing out of the area & would offer full back up for him. If you would like to offer a new home for Jack, please contact the rescue on 01202 875000 between 10 and 4 weekdays, 10 and 1 weekends and ask for Shelagh or send them an email if available. Our website is dedicated to helping to find good homes for abandoned, abused or neglected greyhound and lurchers.
We have a list of rescues that help these loving, gentle dogs. If you are thinking of giving one of these dogs a second chance by adopting a greyhound or lurcher, please contact one of the rescues on the list.
We have a frequently asked questions page, but if you have a question about greyhounds and lurchers that is not on the page, please contact us.
